E-Mail is received by 'ukbusiness.com' on your behalf using the prestigious yourcompanyname@ukbusiness.com style E-Mail address*, once received the message is either forwarded to an existing E-Mail address or electronically converted into a fax format and automatically forwarded to a fax machine of your choice. This option negates the need for the recipient to even have a computer or modem. It is ideal for organisations wishing to have an initial presence on the Internet with the associated credibility and kudos without any issues regarding systems, procedures or security. The limitations of the service are that the forward by fax system cannot handle pictures or attachments embedded within E-Mail messages. Naturally this facility only enables the user to receive E-Mail messages.

A "Dial In" E-Mail facility enables a customer to periodically send & receive E-Mail messages by dialling in from their own computer, to a central computer located at UKB that stores messages for them in an electronic mailbox. To operate this type of E-Mail facility the user requires a suitable computer configured with suitable software and a modem connected to an outside telephone line (it is common practice to share a fax line for this purpose).

The facility allows for the inclusion of pictures and file attachments to be sent and received attached to E-Mail messages, and, supports remote mail.
